Alligator Energy Gains On Uranium Find At South Australia Project

Big Lake uranium discovery extends Blackbush West

Recent drilling has found some of the highest uranium grades

Alligator Energy ASX:AGE has made a significant discovery with its exploration drilling at its Big Lake Project in South Australia.

The drilling in the western channel extension of Blackbush West has found some of the highest uranium grades Alligator has seen.

Alligator Energy’s CEO Greg Hall said this is the first significant greenfields discovery of uranium in Australia in decades.

“This is a major breakthrough for Alligator Energy and for the uranium industry in Australia,” Mr Hall said.

“We have encountered some very high-grade uranium mineralisation, which is open in all directions.”

The first drilling by Alligator Energy at its Big Lake Project in South Australia has resulted in the first significant uranium discovery in several years.

Alligator Energy owns 100% of the Big Lake Uranium Project in the Cooper Basin South Australia, a project targeting shallow, calcrete-hosted uranium deposits.

Alligator Energy Ltd ASX:AGE OTC:ALGEF has made some substantial uranium finds following the first pass drilling program at its Big Lake Project.

The first discovery was the Blackbush West prospect, which is now being extended, and holds the majority of the known mineralisation to date.

The most recent drilling program focused on extending the known mineralisation at Blackbush West including drilling at the Western Channel which sits to the west of Blackbush West and makes up part of the broader Blackbush uranium system.

The Western Channel drilling successfully intersected significant uranium mineralisation in a zone approximately 100m wide and 300m long.

The grades intersected in the Western Channel were of good quality and in some cases, were even better than the grades seen in the Blackbush West Prospect, which the company says is very encouraging.

The discovery of the Western Channel extends the known mineralisation at Blackbush West and highlights the prospectivity of the broader Blackbush uranium system.
